What about Montague folding bikes? They're pretty cool. They have 26" wheels but still fold up. I have one, and it rides really well in the streets of Chicago. I take it on public transit occasionally too, and I keep it in the closet in my apartment.
Most, if not all, are simply drawings. Give me a drawing board or a fancy computer software and I can churn out something for Marvel comics too.
Although just 2 of the bikes you show are commercially available (A-Bike & HP Velotechnik's Grashoper), bikes that look similar to some of the bikes you mentioned do actually exist. For example, the Puma folding bike is cable tensioned like the "Wire Bike" and the IF Mode is a working, award winning folding bike that's similar to Cannondale's Jacknife...
